"The nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes." ~ Ezekiel 36:23

it's a black and white business

Darkness is not to be seen; it is the absence of light. Darkness can not be created, only experienced when light is removed. In the same manner, evil is the absence of God. When God is removed, evil is manifested and experienced.

Without God, every man is left to do as he pleases; rob, steal, lie, murder, pillage, plunder, every sort of evil to anyone and everyone. How can anyone with a heart see that as a good thing?

the christian haters are right! or left, or ?

Dang!

All those left wing, christian hating, conservative bashing, tea-party ridiculing, Republican maligning  progressives are right!  We ARE a bunch of gun crazed loonies!  It MUST be true; it's in FOX news!

Michigan Militia Group Preparing for Antichrist, Web Site Says

Oh, wait.  I didn't read it with on open mind.  There's more to the story than just the headline!

""It started out as a Christian thing," said Donna Stone, 44. "You go to church. You pray. You take care of your family. I think David started to take it a little too far. He dragged a lot of people with him.""

So it was an individual who got carried away with himself and convinced others to follow him into un-Christian, non-Biblical action!

Oh! So, like all the abortion clinic bombers, racial epithet slingers and  homosexual taunters, not all Christians, conservatives or even Republicans act this way!

Whew!  For a minute there I thought I was gonna have to give up my guns, family, Bible and faith!

Fair and balanced?

Media Misrepresents Tea Party Movement

"Back in 2008, anti-GOP protestors at the party’s convention in Minneapolis hurled bricks at store windows and dropped sand bags off of highway overpasses. Former Gov. Sarah Palin has been the target of Tweet threats. More recently, bricks crashed through the GOP headquarters near Charlottesville, Va., and shots were fired through the window of Virginia GOP Rep. Eric Cantor’s office. A Philadelphia man was arrested March 29 on charges he threatened to kill the GOP minority whip.

Did any of the above transform into a running theme the media teased for all it was worth?"

Nope.

prophecy being fulfilled or just coincidental?

"And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.   And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."  ~ Revelations 13:15-17 NAS

"Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,  he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.  "And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."" ~ Revelations 14:9-11

meet me in the middle

Will all name calling, label casting, hate mongering liberals please move far to my left? Thanks. Now, will all name calling, label pasting, hate mongering conservatives move far to my right? Thanks. Now, if thoise of you who believe in truth, justice and the Constitutional American Way will meet me somewhere in the middle, I'd like to have a rousing, but friendly discussion! Thanks.

you might be a redneck

author unknown

We  have  enjoyed the redneck  jokes for years. It's time to take a  reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that values home,  family, country and God. If I had to stand before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd choose a half dozen or  so rednecks to back me up..

Tire irons, squirrel  guns and grit -- that's what rednecks  are made  of. I hope I am one of those. If you feel the  same, pass this on to your redneck friends.  Y'all know who ya are

You might be a redneck if it never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, "One nation, under God".

You might be a redneck if you've never protested about seeing the 10
Commandments posted in public places.

You might be a redneck if you still say "Christmas" instead of "Winter   Festival".

You might be a redneck if you bow your head when someone prays.

You might be a redneck if you stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem

You might be a redneck if you treat our armed forces veterans with great respect, and always  have.

You might be a redneck if you've never burned an American flag, nor intend  to.

You might be a redneck if you know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.

You might be a redneck if you respect your elders and raised your kids to do the same.

You might be a redneck if you'd give your last dollar to a friend.

God Bless the USA !

89% need to shut up

The election results in yesterdays primary races leave a lot of issues in doubt, but one is crystal clear.

The voters are apathetic and at least 89% of the people you hear complaining about the government, politics, etc. need to just shut up.  Their opinions clearly do not count.

These are  the percentages of folks who showed up out of the registered voters in each party:

Texas Republicans 11%
Bexar County Republicans 7.25%
Texas Democrats 5%
Bexar County Democrats 4.75%
Sad, people, just sad ...
