"Was Jesus a common name at the beginning of the first century?"
"On Thursday, Christians will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Was the Christian Messiah the first to have that name, or were there a lot of Jesuses running around back then?"

"A former student at the Rhode Island College School of Social Work is suing the school and several of his professors for discrimination, saying he was persecuted by the school's "liberal political machine" for being a conservative.
William Felkner, 45, says the New England college and six professors wouldn't approve his final project on welfare reform because he was on the "wrong" side of political issues and countered the school's "progressive" liberal agenda.
Felkner said his problems with his professors began in his first semester, in the fall of 2004, when he objected in an e-mail to one of his professors that the school was showing and promoting Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" on campus. He said he objected because no opposing point of view was presented."

"Is evolution a fact? Most people of faith agree with what is commonly referred to as “micro” evolution,” small changes that are clearly visible. We see this in new vaccines and new strains of flu. You can witness evidence of microevolution downtown in any city via the thousands of varieties of stray dogs and cats.
The controversial “macro” evolution was commonly understood as those major changes that could occur if one species jumped to another. For example, have you ever seen a dog-cat, or a cat-rat? The most famous example of macroevolution is the Darwinian "man from an ancestral primate."

I have long believed, based upon many reports, that President George W. Bush was a solid Bible believing Christian. According to his own words, he has questions and does not believe the BIble to be a literal work and that evolution is "not incompatible" with creation. He believes that ALLAH and God are one and that there are multiple avenues to God.

Our fiscally irresponsible federal government is increasing the national debt to bail out bankrupt businesses on the premise that these businesses will be more thrifty and fiscally responsible under the watchful eye of the government.
The Big Three CEO's made the trek to Washington this week in their eco-friendly hybrid cars under the guise that they had learned their lessons and would no longer use their $20K per trip corporate jets for frivolous use, like begging.
This ludricous photo op will likely work unless we rise up to stop it.
We are being handled, once again, by the power corrupted who will use us as pawns in their global game.
This ridiculous charade being played out before our collective conciousness demands a response.
You are the action enabler, the known factor with an unknown voice. Make your voice known. You must contact your representatives in Washington and make your voice heard. Cry out against this false salvation of the American economy. Cry out against injustice and cry out for relief.
It's your money, your future at risk.
Do something. Go here and make your voice known.
