"The nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes." ~ Ezekiel 36:23

salvation comes

Today, 23 years ago, at around 10:30 am, I met Jesus. Some of y’all were there, a very few others have heard my witness of that day.
This was the single, most important moment of my life, for I was given a new life, transformed by the Power of His Spirit and Shed Blood.
I won’t lie and pretend to be other than a common sinful man in the flesh, but in my Spirit, I am reborn, seen as more pure than the whitest snow, as God sees me through His Son’s Eyes.
Lives changed at that moment, not only mine, but others that came and to come. Prayers of the faithful were answered in a miraculous way, as with all who come to know Him.
“Behold, an hour is coming, and has already come, for you to be scattered, each to his own home, and to leave Me alone; and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.””
‭‭John‬ ‭16:32-33‬ ‭NASB‬‬
Take hold, be at peace, love one another.

willfull warfare

Does "spiritual warfare" exist?  I think anyone who has given himself over to the leading of the Holy Spirit knows that it does and is conscious on some level of the daily need to be watchful for those moments that trip us up and result in the chaos of our lives.

Can we blame "spiritual warfare" for all the negative impacts on our lives?   Not all, certainly some, but there is one point we must take responsibility for.

We must, in most cases, allow ourselves to be swayed, lead, moved to acts of personal destruction.  We must take responsibility for being sideswiped.

It is on me to say alert, to be watchful, to continue the righteous walk.

war in the heavens and on earth

If it wasn't for spiritual warfare, we wouldn't have any war at all.

Keep this in mind, through all you troubles, real or imagined, and continue to thank our God who loves you and is mindful of all you endure.

Pray without ceasing and praise, praise, praise Him!

236 years is nothing to God and we have a hard road ahead, America.

Sin, slavery, supplication, salvation, silence.  Repeat.  The story of Israel. (Thanks Pastor Roger, for the lesson!)

"Jerusalem, once so crowded, lies deserted and lonely. This city that was known all over the world is now like a widow. This queen of the nations has been made a slave."  ~  Lamentations 1:1 (CEV)

 Stay mindful,

Steve
